The philsophy of the Friends of Resthaven Foundation Trust is to advance and expand the care and support for the aging population in our community. We are a charitable trust based in Cambridge and our focus is to fundraise for much needed facilities, services, advanced care options and specialist aged-care education. The emphasis is on making facilities and services accessible and affordable. Quite simply, we want to give our older community members choice.
Wonderful News! Our Endowment Fund is now a reality...
Our dream of setting up an endowment fund is now a reality! A huge thank you to Cambridge local Kevin Burgess and the Momentum Waikato Community Foundation team for everything they have done to assist establishing the 'Friends of Resthaven Foundation Trust Fund' as a Momentum Waikato fund.
Setting up this endowment fund is an important step for us. The Fund has launched with $50,000, and donations to the Fund will grow its capital, providing a perpetual income stream. It will help support services and provide resources for seniors, with the future of Cambridge Resthaven and the Cambridge community at heart.

Charity Golf Day 2026 - a hit!
We were thrilled to host our very first Friends of Resthaven Foundation Charity Golf Day, and what an afternoon it was - we were chuffed to have a grand total of 17 teams. There was lots of good banter and golf for a good cause! This was a brand new fundraiser and we want to say a huge thank you to the amazing supporters, sponsors, helpers and teams on the day.
